Obituary of Regina I. Niebler

Regina I. Niebler, 59, Jefferson passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 surrounded by her family at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient in Johnson Creek, WI after a tenacious battle with cancer.

Regina was born on September 29, 1964, in Portage, WI to Edward and Jane (Young) Gjavenis.  She graduated from Madison LaFollette High School in 1983.  She married William Niebler on June 28, 1997. Regina operated an in-home daycare for many years and later obtained her CNA certificate and worked for several health care services.  Most recently Regina worked at Theisens in the greenhouse in Jefferson.  Gina enjoyed nature and gardening.  She raised and released over 200 monarch butterflies. Most of all she loved and treasured spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Will, Jefferson; daughters Jessica (Perry) Johnson, Ashley McDonald (Josh Garity); son Ryan Kreger; 8 grandsons and 2 granddaughters; Aunt Trisha Youngs; her very special cousin Tammy Jo Smith; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard, granddaughter Delilah NormaJo Kreger.

A prayer service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 6:00pm with Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating at Schneider Michaelis Funeral Home 900 W. Racine St. Jefferson, WI 53549.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00pm until the time of the service.
