Dean served in the United States National Guard for 13 years in Company E-3rd Battalion Group in the 127 Infantry. He was employed at V.A. Hetland in Jefferson and then Palmer Ford in Jefferson. Dean also worked for Schweiger’s Furniture, Braun’s Lumber, and most recently drove semi locally for Atlas Cold Storage. He was a member of the Reinhardt-Windl American Legion Post 164 of Jefferson. Dean loved spending time on their farm with his Uncle Carl, he was an avid firearm enthusiast, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.
